How and Where and Who

Just call me Mommy. My name used to be Sherri, and it will likely again one day be Sherri, but now and for the foreseeable future, Mommy it is. I am a full-time mom and a part-time architect and architectural historian in Central Virginia.

A special thanks goes out to the great illustrator John Cox, who has made a caricature world for my boys to inhabit online. You will see here that John’s caricatures for this site are much like my own writing choices. They take some of the best elements, the funniest details, and make those the focus. And that’s the real purpose of this site: to isolate and pick out the very best moments and make a kind of highlight reel of parenthood.
